Tue: Top Buys PFE JNJ LU F AMCC PTLC Top Sells TLT
It may be best to stay heavy in cash for volatile short-term trading opportunities, and if the market is much lower, in a month, that may be the time to buy. PFE remains relatively undervalued, and there should be big bounces and big pullbacks on new drugs and patent expirations. JNJ is a defensive stock and long-term buy. F may bounce to 8 and rise with GM short-term. AMCC is also a defensive stock, since it has 1.23 in cash, no debt, and a current ratio over 7, and always rises above 3. I expected PTLC to rise sooner. Nonetheless, it's a long-term buy. Two to 30 year Treasury bonds yields are slightly above the Fed Funds Rate, in part, because foreign capital inflows, from international trade, remain high. However, it seems, there's little downside for Treasury yields, and should shift to higher trading ranges. So, TLT may be a short. |
