ATWL reminds me of another penny stock EISQ, which rose from 0.20 to over 7 (over a 35 times return) quickly. ATWL is in the oil industry and has been acquiring oil fields. ATWL changed its name to Petroleum Communication Holdings recently. ATWL is also in the communications industry and plans to bridge communication gaps cheaply in oil rich poor countries (e.g. in tropical Africa), which lack 20th century communication infrastructures.
ATWL is not without risk. It fell to 0.02 about a year ago, from its IPO price at about 1, and has risen over 10 times, to close at 0.24 Fri. I currently own 100,000 shares of ATWL at roughly 0.21, and tried to buy another 100,000 shares at 0.21 Fri. If ATWL rises above 0.50, I plan to sell 10,000 shares (or 10%), and if it rises above 1, I'll sell another 10%. There's a possibility ATWL will rise to over 7. So, I want to keep at least half the shares in case it rises above 5. I believe, ATWL is well worth the risk. |
