I plan to sell some SQQQ shares and buy large positions in QQQ and SPY puts. Volatility and at least a shallow pullback are likely.
My portfolio is at $12,070,000 including $2,182,900 in cash.
Calls Contracts-Shares Long
None
Puts Contracts-Shares Short
SQQQ 100,000 shares
QQQ May 640 2026 2,400
QQQ May 650 2026 500
SPY May 700 2026 300
SPY May 710 2026 1,000
Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks go straight up month after month. |
