Sep 26th Trading Log (Updates):

Current Trades: Bought 30 more SPY Sep calls at 4.2, sold 2,000 ARKK shares at 38.50, sold 50 BABA Nov calls at 3.8, sold 2,000 ARKK shares at 39.10, bought 2,000 more HAL shares at 24.00 (delayed trade), sold 30 SPY Sep calls at 5.25, sold 40 SPY Sep calls at 5.5, sold 20 SPY Oct calls at 8, bought the 20 SPY Oct calls back at 6.2, bought 50 more SPY 375 calls at 11.6, bought 30 more SPY Oct calls at 5.6, bought 50 more SPY 380 calls at 8.7, sold 50 SPY 380 calls at 9.7, sold 4,000 ARKK shares at 37.60, and bought 30 more SPY Oct calls at 5.4 ---------- SPX fell 38 points to 3,655 today. Normally, I would sell stocks last and options first. However, the market looks weak enough to fall further. So, I sold all the ARKK shares and plan to trade only the three stocks below. Perhaps, SPX will fall to around 3,600 this week and bounce in early October. There may be more volatility to trade in the meantime. I'll primarily focus on SPY calls.

My portfolio is about $1,860,000 including $1,239,200 in cash.

Calls Contracts-Shares Long

HAL 10,000 shares
SPY Oct 370 100 weekly 7th
SPY Nov 375 2022 150
SPY Nov 380 2022 100
BABA Nov 90 2022 50
BABA Jan 90 2023 100

Puts Contracts-Shares Short

None

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month.
