SYMC fell sharply on the VRTS buyout rumor and then fell sharply when the rumor turned out to be true. SYMC's average volume over the past three months was 4 1/2 million and on Thu traded 113 1/2 million shares. SYMC is a fundamentally strong software stock that may bounce on short-covering soon. Holding 200 day MA, although may eventually fall lower.
