The problem with climate change models is even if we knew all the variables that cause climate change, we don't have the data to measure the effects of those variables. We do know humans are adding to climate change, at a somewhat steady rate, but we don't know if it's statistically significant, and curbing fossil fuels, at a steady and realistic rate, will be even less significant or have no effect.
It seems, the goal of climate change is political, not scientific, to slow emerging economies, e.g. China and India, and prevent U.S. oil production, e.g. in Alaska and California. Moroever, humans, in their arrogance, tend to believe they're more important than they really are.
