PeakTrader:

It’s amazing the media isn’t talking about the deep and long Obama depression, since Jun ’09, after the Bush recession ended, everyday:

I explained in 2009, when there’s one foot on the accelerator and the other foot on the brake, there will be a very slow and very expensive “recovery.”

Remarkably, one foot is still on the accelerator and the other foot is still on the brake.

Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act) is designed to reduce budget deficits through higher taxes and more consumer spending on health care, rather than reducing budget deficits through economic growth.

Adding more regulation to an overregulated industry and forcing consumers to pay more for health care means less money for everything else.

Maybe, wacko Libertarians and conservative Republicans, who can’t even identify a problem, are driving voters to Democrats.

Ron, your statement makes no sense. You may want to see other charts for a clue:

There are too many false assumptions in Ron’s statement. So, I’ll just reveal one.

Ron says: “Starting in 1944 would show you that per capita GDP was below trend until the mid to late ’60s, and starting in 2000 would show a much more robust economy in 2013.”

The chart shows the huge output gap, since 2000. Also, the chart seems to show some reduction of potential output, since the recession:
