PeakTrader:
Marque2, Morganovich makes statements that have been proven wrong, many times. Yet, he continues to make the same false implications and statements, to find fools.
Portugal proved much more rehabilitation and education, along with labeling drug addicts “sickos” have been effective reducing drug use, ceteris paribus. Yet, decriminalization alone increases drug use substantially:
From the Huffington Post:
“According to statistics compiled by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) between 2001-07, after decriminalisation (in Portugal), more people took cannabis, cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy, and LSD – but decreased in neighbouring Spain between 2003-2008.”

Morganovich, pot, which grows like a weed, is not beer.
And, it’s easy to buy or get beer when you’re underage. It’s even easier for girls.

Friedman confuses freedom with selfishness.
1. Drug addicts lose their freedom when addicted to drugs.
2. Victims of drug addicts lose their freedom when killed or injured by drug addicts, or people high on drugs.

If you like LBJ’s Great Society, you’ll love drug legalization.
Why should people not on drugs pay trillions of dollars in social costs for people on drugs?
****
Why not reward them (liquor owners) for their fine work, or better yet, reward illegal drug users with legalization for everything they do for society and families.
Addicts will get an additional bonus; a free stay at a rehabilitation center, up to 365 days and nights, meals included.

“Chicago’s gun violence can be traced to drug prohibition”
I’ve already shown data there’s a positive correlation between drug use and crime, particularly violent and property crime. I’ve also shown data when you legalize something, you get more of it.

Morganovich, Keynes’s wrote “The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money” in 1936. So, he’s not responsible for the enormous damage caused by laissez-faire before then.
