Morning Trades: Sold the 40 BABA Nov calls at 5.2, sold 50 BABA Jan 65 calls at 10, and sold 50 BABA Jan 70 calls at 7.5. Current Trades: Sold 1,000 TLT shares at 97.75, bought 10 SPY Feb 400 puts at 22.45, sold 1,000 TLT shares at 98.00, sold the 1,000 BABA shares at 69.90, and bought 10 SPY Mar 400 puts at 23 -------- The CPI peaked in June at 9.1% and has gradually declined to 7.7% in October. The Fed will likely slow the tightening, but a profits recession is likely. If there's a melt-up above SPX 3,900, e.g. 4,000 to 4,200, that'll likely be an opportunity to start buying puts.
