Jun 15th Trading Log (Updates):
Current Trades: Sold the 40 SPY Jun calls at 9, sold 30 SPY 390 calls at 6.5, sold 20 SPY 380 calls at 11, sold 2,000 ARKK shares at 38.50, bought the 20 SPY 380 calls back at 10.35, bought the 30 SPY 390 calls back at 5.75, bought 5,000 T shares at 19.42, bought 100 more SPY 380 calls at 9, sold 2,000 ARKK shares at 38.70, bought 100 more SPY 380 calls at 8, sold the 100 SPY Jul 390 calls at 6, sold 100 SPY Jul 380 calls at 12, sold the 20,000 DNA shares at 2.70, bought 100 SPY 380 calls back at 10, sold the 5,000 T shares at 19.42, sold 100 SPY 380 calls at 11.5, sold 50 SPY 380 calls at 12, sold 50 SPY 380 calls at 13, and bought 50 SPY Jul 375 calls at 14 -------- SPX traded in a volatile 3,722 to 3,838 range and closed at 3,790. So, it retraced 85 points (at close) of the 450 point drop (from high to low) over the prior five trading days. I expect volatility to continue, likely with an uptrend, given bullish technical indicators and the Fed front loading the tightening cycle, which will require fewer hikes in future. So, I basically plan to buy SPY calls on pullbacks and sell on bounces.
My portfolio is over $1,635,000 including $787,400 in cash.

Portfolio at $100,000 on March 1st, 2018. Portfolio stop loss suspended. Scaled up and adjusted portfolio. Both prior portfolios, since early 2000s, rose initially and substantially, and then failed quickly in “irrational” market “melt-ups," where stocks can go straight up month after month. |
